Eight (of the 10) are 8.5” x 11” and two are slightly smaller. In matching frames they would make an impressive display in a business, office or home.
Mary's film career started in about 1909, making a film every week, and she quickly became the highest paid film star of the early silent film era. She enjoyed immense national popularity and became the first "America's Sweetheart".
In addition to her excellent acting skills, Mary was also an energetic and shrewd businesswoman. She was co--founder (with Chaplin and Fairbanks) of United Artists studio. She is also credited as being the founder of the Academy of Motion Picture Artists.
Mary had a huge impact on early flimdom, not only as an actress, but as one of Hollywood's real 'movers and shakers'.
The paper size is 7.75” x 10.5”. Minor marginal darkening from pencil smudges, lower edges a little worn and signature starts close to lower edge. It is in otherwise very good condition.
