This
outstandingly beautiful blond had a roller coaster career which
began in vaudville at age 15 and progressed shortly afterward into
bit parts in movies. After playing opposite Lon Chaney in
"The Miracle Man" (1919) she became a top star of the
20's, making $5,000 per week!
In
the 30's Betty's roles began to degrade, only to pick up again
in the later 30's until the early 40's. She appeared in only
a few movies after 1941 and retired from films in 1948.
