87. 'Pinky' Tomlin

'Pinky' Tomlin

(1906-1987)

Pinky's film career began in 1935 with a starring role in "King Solomon of Broadway". He also wrote songs for the movie.

That movie was one of seven that he starred in between 1935 and 1952.

Pinky was probably a better songwriter/composer than actor, he composed the score for at least one movie: "Swing It, Professor" (1937), and wrote songs for two or three others.

This is another Hollywood signature offered in this website that came from 'George's' 1935 autograph album.

A nice clear signature in black ink.

Price: $ 30
