Fritz Kreisler

(1875-1962)

Born in Austria, but after 1915 he spent most of his life in America and became a U.S. citizen in 1943.

He was one of the most accomplished violinists and composers of his time.

 

This one-page concert program was signed by Kreisler at the time of his performance in Hill Auditorium at the University of Michigan on November 29, 1937.

The "Coming Musical Events" is printed on the reverse side.

Kreisler's large signature has the appearance of being hastily scrawled across the program.

The program has multiple fold lines.
