71. Edmund Lowe

Edmund Lowe

(1890-1971)

Edmund began his acting debut, both on stage and in movies, in 1917 and continued until illness ended his career in 1960.  During those decades, he had many starring roles, including "What Price Glory"(1927) and "Around the World in 80 Days"(1956).

Edmund's second of three wives was actress Lilyan Tashman who died suddenly in 1934.

This vintage 8" x 10" is in very good condition except for 1" closed tear on the left side (in a blank area) and a 3/8" closed tear in the right margin near, but not into, the end of "Lowe".

Edmund's inscription and signature in black ink has very good contrast although it does run into the right side margin.

Price: $ 95
