Jack
Oakie was a prominent and active movie personality from 1928 to
1961, performing in about 80 films during that period.
His
performance as Mussolini in Chaplin's classic "The Great Dictator"(1940)
was especially noteworthy and which earned him an Academy Award
nomination for best suppporting actor.
Boldly
inscribed "It's all in fun / Jack Oakie".
